I couldn't decide with color/pattern scheme to use on my V-2 kit, so I built a second one.  This one will be painted in a yellow/black roll pattern, similar to the one shown on the Estes face card.  However, this will be the pattern from the #3 White Sands test (not the #2 as Estes used).  The pattern itself is straight forward, however, this rocket also had a pinup girl painted as fin can art.  Excelsior makes a decal for this.  This rocket is built, but is in the final stages of priming and sanding.  It should be painted soon.

The only kit modifications are the use of 1/4" elastic shock cord (instead of the rubber), tied off around the motor mount, and a yellow 18" ripstop nylon parachute.
