Brief:
This quick trash made rocket only requires a couple plastic cups, one paper one, and some stranded wiring!

Construction:
There are 2 plastic cups, which make up the top and bottom halves of the rocket. There is 1 paper cup, which acts as the centering rings and fins. There is 1 sheet of paper, which is rolled into a motor mount. There is about 1.5 feet of stranded wire, which acts as a shock cord. A mix of electrical tape and yellow glue is used to assemble this rocket.

First, pick your motor size. Take a motor and create a motor mount by wrapping the paper around it. Apply glue as you wrap to wrap the paper to make a sturdy motor mount. In order to assemble the bottom half of the rocket, make a hole in the bottom of the first plastic cup. Make sure your new motor mount can snugly fit in.

Next, take the paper cup and cut it an inch from the bottom. Take the bottom half of the cup and make another hole that will snugly fir the motor mount. Attach the two cups together. Glue/tape everything in place.

Now, in order to assemble the nose cone section, cut the second plastic cup in half and reattach it backwards. To make fins, take the rest of the paper cup, cut it into thirds, and fold each third in half. Tape each third 120 degrees apart on the lower body cup to add fins.

Lastly, attach the shock cord through an electrical tape motor mount.

Flight:
Recovery is simply done using a segment of braided electrical wire and tumble recovery.

The rocket is almost invincible, but if it does break, it is always an easy fix...
