I wanted a larger rocket that could shoot D & E engines to go around 1000 feet so I got this one. It is an extremely fast build and fun to fly. The E12 shoots it over 1100 feet!
37" high

Parachute recovery.
E2X - Easy to Assemble
The only thing I don't like is the plastic cheap parachutes. They work but they also rip and fall apart easily when you move up to larger engines.
I upgraded it to a 12" nylon parachute for $6.
*Requires Estes E Launch Controller, when launching E Engines - sold separately.
Pros:
Very fast build!!!
Plastic cement & Epoxy are all I used. Finished in 1 hour.
No painting, just add stickers. The stickers have stayed on after todays 2 flights!
You may like painting, but I hate it. You can paint over the current paint if you want to.
This thing flew very high. It was very stable with a D12 or the E12. It went 1100 feet with the E12 in it. That was very high!
I don't like the cheap Estes plastic parachute but ... the whole kit only costs $25. The parachute that came with it was a little large so I cut the 2" hole into it.
I bought a 12" nylon parachute for it from Apogee but didn't have it for this flight yet.
Nice flying rocket, very fast build. For a large rocket, it goes pretty high - 1100 ft.
The only thing I would upgrade is the parachute.
