I saw this Kit at Allied Hobbies RTF ready to Fly Minus Parachute as a Kit with Pad and engines etc.. 

Notes on Quest Products:

• The Parachutes [are terrible] 
• The Launch Pads [are terrible] 
• The Launch Controller is ... Ok ... and actually pretty cool
• The KITS are AWESOME!

This kit is a Styrofoam model of the Enterprise E with small clear plastic fins for flight. With the Enterprise I had to build nothing except the parachute. Modification here; I put a loop in their shock cord so I could use my own parachutes (I make one of each size with snap swivels). 

The first flight was pretty neat and rather straight with a little roll. It went up ejected and then I got worried. It was coming down awfully slow. That little plastic "Nose Cone" has an awful lot of nose weight in it and when I recovered it (undamaged) I found out what happened. The HEAVY nose cone had separated! It was NOT secured very. Well I got lucky when another modeler hunting for his rocket found my nose cone (would be pretty tuff to replace).

I flew it again at NARAM-40 on a B6-4. A pretty low flight. I would stick with the C's. 

I am also thinking if messing with letting the parachute and nose cone separate and possibly having glider recovery. Would be neat if its stable. 

I would rate this a 4 out of 5 for construction for horrible parachute and not secured nose cone. 

I would rate this a 4 out of 5 for looks. I LOVE Star Trek, BUT the decals are not all placed on model and they tend to come off after a few flights. (Annoying) 

I would rate this a 5 out of 5 for flight. Very stable and the design is cool.
