Brief:
This is a replica of the Firefox jet that was in the Clint Eastwood movie. It has offset tubes; that was a plus for
me. It comes with a huge 32 inch parachute.
Construction:
The parts list:
Instructions need to be read twice then follow them carefully to the letter. The instructions are easy for an experienced builder. The guide they provide is the only way to line up the fins properly. I used CA on all the fins. I also used the double glue method of applying some glue, let almost dry, then apply some more just before you attach the wings and fins.
Finishing:
I primed and sanded before painting black and 5 coats of clear. I attached decals then shot another coat of clear on
top of them.

Flight:
I used the D12-3 on first flight. It was underpowered so the E30 was the next step up. It got a great boost and I do
mean it soared like a bird straight and true. I used a 5" x 5" sheet of Nomex®.
The dog barf is a drag man.
Recovery:
I used the duct tape on the shock cord to prevent zippering. The materials are top notch. Read the instructions twice
and it will go OK. Use new blade when you cut the tubes. You might want to reef the chute or put a vent hole in it
because that is a pretty big chute. It will drift. You would cry as your $50.00 drifts out of sight. Be careful of
those tip on the two tail fins.

Summary:
The rocket is a good test of ones building skills so don't be afraid to give it a shot. It is a beautiful rocket when
finished. You will get many complements about it if you take your time. My main con would be that the fins should be
laser cut for a clean look although mine came out OK.
