Manufacturer: | Public Enemy |
Construction:
This was a kit...all parts were standard to the kit.
The instructions were basic but that is in line with a 38mm high power kit. (not for beginners). The kit went together great with all of the slots pre-cut by the manufacturer. Good quality in all of the parts. The kit is very strong after assembly and worked out great for my Level 2 Certification flight on a J350.
Finishing:
The kit does not come with the standard set of Bullpup decals which would have
been nice. They are available on the net if you search.

Flight:
I flew the kit on a J350 for a Level 2 flight. It flew straight as an arrow. I
also used the Aeropack motor retention system which worked well. No wadding was
used but there was a Nomex® chute protector in place that had a large blast
pattern on it after the flight. Highly recommend using them.
Recovery:
The kit came with a flat nylon strap that connected to the motor tube and then
to a 1/4 tubular bungee cord. I used cable crimps to create a loop at either
end of the bungee and used quick connects so the chute and cord could be
removed for storage. The system worked without a hitch. 3000ft flight that
landed 100 yards from the pad.
Although the kit had a good 'chute I opted for the SkyAngle 36"...Worked great.
I chose the Nomex® instead of using one of the various wadding materials. I modified the shock cord out of personal preference not necessity. Both were not required so I don't feel the need to downgrade the kit because of it.

Summary:
Would recommend the kit to others. Went together well and I will buy another PE
kit in the future.
