Ciscos tells the story of his life from a 13-year old kid working part-time in a junkyard after school, to a successful businessman and community leader.  His time working for Grumman on the Apollo program is given only a little more emphasis than the other periods of his life. The lack of in-depth detail about the Lunar Module and Grumman\'s work on it may leave some readers longing for more.  But, Cisco has made an obvious effort to keep the story moving and not to let the technical things bog it down.

Like many self-published books, the book includes some grammatical mistakes that wouldn't get past a good editor ("fast as lightening", the shuttle deploys a "drag shoot" after landing).  But, the first-person narrative is written in a style that is easy-to-read and enjoyable.  Even though this is truly a "rags to riches" story, it is never overly-melodramatic or preachy. 

Even though it doesn't contain much for readers seeking technical insights, I recommend the book to those interested in reading an inspiring story and in the Apollo moon missions and the period of US history when they took place.
