Brief:
Comes with drogue and main parachutes, the CPR 3000 system, and the Kwik-Switch 2000. CoPilot altimeter not included.

Construction:
Has a pre-slotted airframe, a 33" fore-recovery airframe, a 17" aft-recovery airframe, and a nose cone. Uses (4) G-10 fins, (4) centering rings, (2) pistons, and a bulk plate. The CPR 3000 comes with mounts, cannisters, couplers, o-rings and an aluminum threaded coupler and sleeve. It also comes with a D-ring, safety switch, safety switch wire, piston straps, tubular shock cords and (2) launch lugs.

Very good instructions with lots of illustrations. Assembly was easy to follow and in a logical order. Very little sanding had to be done on the centering rings. Care must be used when installing the CPR 3000 threaded aluminum coupler system. The alignment has to be perfect or when you thread the two body tubes together the body tubes won't meet properly. Trial fit everything first. Remember to sand everything where epoxy is used. I used 90 minute epoxy on the entire rocket, except when first setting the fins, where I used 5 minute epoxy. The Ace hardware brand works well. This is a very sturdy rocket.

Finishing:
I used an auto primer, and painted it using Rustoleum metallic paints. I faded the paint from dark blue to silver at the nose. The rocket doesn't come with decals, except one for the CPR 3000 and one for the PML logo. As with painting any rocket, allow enough time for the paint to dry.

Flight:
This rocket will fly on anything from an I200 29mm to a K185 54mm without glassing the rocket and installing a longer motor tube. Use talc when installing the altimeter and on the piston tubes. If the electric matches won't fit thru the small hole in the ejection cannisters, you can thread them thru from the top. The CoPilot altimeter instructions tell you how to test the system before you go to the launch pad, do it. Also, when you arm the system at the pad, it will beep 3 times, and keep repeating. This is telling you that the system is ok. Because of the piston system, no wadding is needed. I installed an Aero Pack 54mm Kwik-Switch motor retainer. VERY easy to use. I flew it on a J415 and it reached an altitude of 5,809 ft. The flight was straight and the recovery system worked flawlessly.

Recovery:
The drogue chute is in the aft body tube, and the main is in the fore body tube. The piston system is easy to assemble. Recovery was fine, but one piston got chipped.

Summary:
This rocket really looks good, and is sturdy enough to have many good flights. I think the CPR 3000 system along with the copilot works very well.
