Flight Log - 2013-07-14 - Mike Wurtz's Nemesis

Hand layed carbon fiber body tubes and motor mount. Used Giant Leap coupler tubing as a mandrel and layed up with aeropoxy laminating resin. 3/32 birch ply laminated with 3 layers of carbon on each side make up the 3 fins. Giant Leap centering rings. PR Filament wound 5:1 VC nose-cone with metal tip and PR 9" carbon coupler tubing for Av-bay. Aeropack retainer for motor retention. Nose cone and upper section of payload bay painted in Chevy synergy green metallic with flames at bottom, fin edges also painted in synergy green metallic.

Love skidmarks, got off the pad in a hurry...great motor. Nice and smokey and good rumble, the black and orange looks nice coming out the back of a black rocket too. Perfect flight, drifted into the corn but was able to find it after about an hour of searching
