Stock build. Rather than the standard red livery shown on the face card, I substituted an emerald green that almost has an anodized look. Duplicolor makes it; its their "Metalcast" line. The painting is a 3-step process: a silver metallic basecoat is applied, a translucent color coat is applied, and then it looks best if clearcoated after. This gives the finish a real "deep" metallic look, very trick. I've used this in several colors on various bicycle builds. The kit's roll pattern decals are white and clear (as opposed to white and red), so that allows the green to show through. The white is opaque enough to not be significantly tinted by the paint underneath. The rocket was just finished (mid November), so it'll unfortunately be a long winter before I can fly it...
