I built this upscale Astron Ranger as a fraternal twin to my similarly upscaled Big Bertha. I tried to keep this as true to the Ranger as possible, though the BT80 sized elliptical cone isn't quite long enough. Still, it separates in the middle (with dual-chute recovery) with the same proportions as the original, and has a triple 24mm cluster to lift it. Rocksim tells me that 3x E12-8 motors will lift it nearly 1800 feet, but it'll be easier to track on 3x C11-5s, at a little under 500'. The design uses a baffle to protect the chutes, a balsa version of the -80BB cone and 1/8" papered balsa fins with epoxy fillets. Finished in the late Damon-style yellow/black stripe with red cone and a white fin graphics, thanks to Excelsior decals.
