Launch of 1:32 Scale Lunar Module model as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of Apollo 13. This is a cardboard model with Estes D12-3 rocket engine. I added a parachute canister that is designed to be ejected and separate to deploy the parachute for gentle decent. Unfortunately the chute did not deploy as planned and the model crash landed. Some damage sustained but repairable. We will repair and refine the design for another attempt soon.
