The Estes Hawkeye was one of my favorite little rockets from the late '80s, but I was always afraid of loosing mine due to its small size.  So, way before I knew people actually built upscale/downscale models, I built this nearly 2X scale version based on a BT20 size tube.  I didn't have suitable decals then, so I mixed and matched decals from various model airplane kits.  Now that I know about Excelsior decals, I'm planning on building a 3X Hawkeye soon from a BT60 tube...
