WHS Physics students are engaged in a performance final where they apply gained knowledge to model rocketry assessing thrust curves for theoretical velocities, accelerations, and launch heights and compare to data accumilated during actual launches where flight times and angular measurements are made. Students and teachers preferred the performance final to a sit-down test for obvious reasons but the WHS Scienc Department likes the idea of taking understood theory and applying it in real-time.
