The creators of the Team America Rocketry Chalenge (TARC), Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and the National Association of Rocketry (NAR), enlisted the public relations firm Van Eperen & Company to promote the event.
Van Eperen & Company uses traditional as well as social media to generate national awareness about TARC primarily among students, parents and teachers. For the third TARC event, Van Eperen & Company arranged for the Food Network's Duff Goldman to attend to film a segment for his Ace of Cakes TV show.
