This is the second firing of the USC Rocket Propulsion Lab's eight inch diameter, two grain solid rocket motor. It burns about 60 lb of composite propellant in approximately 10.5 seconds. The average thrust was 1250 lb. This second firing was a test of a new steel nozzle design that proved to be more robust than the all graphite design from the first firing attempt.
