Streamer Calculator

This tool calculates the minimum size streamer to use in your rocket using the method described by Timothy Van Milligan in his book Model Rocket Design and Construction.

Enter the weight of your rocket (don't forget to include the weight of the expended motor). Then enter the width of the streamer you wish to use (or leave the width field empty to calculate the size of a 10:1 ratio streamer to use).
