A little foam ball with dowel rod antenna representing the Soviet Sputnik is lofted at the Alpena MI CRTC during the week of the GLR CAP Summer Encampment 2009. The cheapest model rocket out there, but fun to build and easy to prep. Comments by cadets and staff involved in the model rocketry course may be heard during the flight and recovery.
