June 13, 2011 test flight of E-engine-powered home-made rocket with onboard camera and furry pilot. Upon separation at around 800 feet altitude, the fuselage broke free from its tether and free-fell onto the street, leaving the command module to drift out of sight. After almost an hour of searching around the neighborhood, the module and pilot were eventually found intact on the roof of the school. The malfunction may have had something to do with an old shoe lace being used to connect the fuselage to the command module/nose-cone.
