Making motor hooks out of old windshield wiper blades.
This is a very simple procedure that takes only minutes to complete.
First, remove a metal strip from an old windshield wiper blade refill.

Next, make a 90 degree bend about a quarter inch from the end.

Use a spent motor casing to determine the length of the hook, and make a slight bend at the bottom of the motor.

Use pliers to bend the bottom to a full 90 degree bend.

To complete, simply cut off the excess strip, leaving about a quarter inch for the hook, and you're all set!
