Motor Hooks From Wiper Blades

Making motor hooks out of old windshield wiper blades.

This is a very simple procedure that takes only minutes to complete.

First, remove a metal strip from an old windshield wiper blade refill.

Step 1

Next, make a 90 degree bend about a quarter inch from the end.

Step 2

Use a spent motor casing to determine the length of the hook, and make a slight bend at the bottom of the motor.

Step 3

Use pliers to bend the bottom to a full 90 degree bend.

Step 4

To complete, simply cut off the excess strip, leaving about a quarter inch for the hook, and you're all set!

Step 5
