Flight Log - 2018-10-06 - Matthew Bond's Estes Orbital Interceptor
A recreation of a classic Estes kit produced from 1981-1983. Kit was built as my "backup" entry into the classic model category from NARAM 60. The parts were purchased from eRockets, including the laser cut balsa fins, body tube, nose cone and reproduced decals.

Strange boost, rocket started a slight corkscrew motion off the rod which got worse as it ascended, basically ending up with the rocket in a flat spin and stalled out when the ejection charge went off. Good chute deploy, short walk, recovered on the field with no damage.
