After being back into Model Rocketry for a little over a year, I decided to put on my big boy pants and get this ball rolling for a NAR Level 1 Certification. I decided on a LOC IV from Loc Precision for my attempt as a result of recommendations from the Apogee Components suggested kits for certification. I also went with Aerotech reloadable hardware and a H73J BlackJack with a 6 second delay to pass the test. I would like to give special thanks to Mr Lee Reep from Fort Collins CO for the online coaching and who also made it down to Pueblo to launch with me and sign-off on my flight. I would also like to thank Ben Whitfield from the Pueblo SCORE group for the sign-off as well. Also special thanks to Nick Goodwin for helping me with what I am going to refer as a combined build online and all the advise and support even being so far away. I was super nervous but now I feel like a big kid and I'm looking forward to the future. Also if you're into Rocketry and you're not part of the Facebook Group "Model Rocketry Fanatics!!!", make sure you join to get help, advice, and support from many awesome rocketeers that love and share your interests.
