LOC / Precision V2 3.9" (V.2)
Re-attempting my V2 Mojave Green I245-G-M Challenge. Rocket lifted off the pad quickly gaining alot of altitude. Very straight flight with little to no roll. EJection appeared to go without a hitch. While under full parachute, rocket landed hard on asphalt tarmac causing extensive damage to x2 fins and lower tail cone. Also upon recovering rocket, discovered a 3" zipper due to higher speeds during ejection and upgraded Kevlar shock cord. Will scavenge rocket for parts and will re-build rocket again (V2 (V.3) using "Fire Ball" anti zipper device. Sponsored Ads |
