Little Red is our rocket for the Runkle Regional Rocket Competition. The event was cancelled due to pandemic, however the rocket was launched during Mini Midwest Power in Princeton, IL in May 2021. The rocket experienced improper ignition and battery discharge leading to main flight computer failure. Luckily, the secondary altimeter RRC3 worked flawlessly. We managed to safely land the rocket and we acquired flight data which will be used to validate our own flight simulation code. The rocket reached half of predicted 10,000 ft. altitude and a top speed of 175 m/s. It was flown on Aerotech L952W RMS motor.
