Today I launched my first model rocket from a field in North Myrtle Beach, SC. As a member of the National Association of Rocketry, I want to connect with other fans and build bigger and more powerful rockets. The rocket I launched today, my very first one, is an Estes Silver Arrow, 15 in length, .98 in diameter, with an estimated weight of 1.3 oz. The engine was a B6-4 which lifted the rocket to 600 ft altitude. The parachute deployed well and because of the strong wind the rocket landed a few feet from a lake so I recovered it. Here is the link to the video showing how I built the model rocket: https://youtu.be/8KJZDjUdHkM Hi there friends! I live in North Myrtle Beach, SC and I have built my first model rocket, Estes Silver Arrow 15 inch (38 cm) long, .98 inch (25 mm) diameter, with an estimated weight of 1.3 oz (39.9 g). I'm using a B6-4 rocket engine with an estimated altitude of 600 ft (183 m). I will also post the video of the launch (it was too windy to launch the day I finished building the rocket). Here is my video from the trip I made to NASA: https://youtu.be/y3Jtc1Opcdk Like my video and subscribe to my channel if you enjoyed it and want to be notified when I post new videos. Thank you.
