The Krueger Rocket Company was founded in 1965 by Bill, Jim, and Tom Krueger of Downers Grove, Illinois. The three turned their childhood interest in model rockets into a business.
The Krueger Rocket Company operated until 1979 when it went out of business and the remaining inventory was sold to a West German company.
G. Harry Stine donated some Krueger products to the Smithsonian including an "Fx 20-2WS" motor.
