Flight Log - 2011-09-16 - Kirk Mona's Wildfire
Original kit Wildfire I built in 1987. Won best launch at Space Camp back when I was in elementary school. They did not have us paint the body tube so that is why it was tan. Lazy instructors I guess.

First flight after nearly 15 years. Alas, the chute separated from the rocket and it came down in a corn field in pieces. Nothing was recovered. Maybe I can find the nose cone in the spring. I'm thinking of scratch building this rocket as I really liked it. Impressive fast flight on this engine.
