Great looking odd-roc in the style of the chubby rockets from the 50's. Looks quite odd with its "fish bone" style, but at certain angles and in flight it looks great!

First flight of the Mega Rebel. I wanted to use a D12-3, but was all out (what's with the shortage around me...the local Hobby Lobby had all the motors except for D12-3s!). Lift off was beautiful, but didn't get much height. Ejection was shortly after apogee and while the nose and parachute came out, the chute didn't open and had a parawad snow dart. The main body landed fairly flat upside-down and the only damage was a small ding on the main tube (which juts out a bit from the body). Post flight review shows that kevlar shield didn't pop out, causing the weak ejection. I had thought the shield was somewhat stiff and now I may switch to dog barf. Also to be fair, the last C11-3 I used on my ACME Spitfire also seemed to have weak ejection. Rocket is still recommended though since it looks so good in flight and likely nothing else like it when you take it to the field.
