Interceptor Iris Payload

This view of the nose of the Interceptor shows the main weponry module just behind the cockpit. Behind that, in this test model is the electronics bay. In this particular stretched model, an Altimeter 2 is installed to gather data on altitude, G-forces, and speeds. This one-of-a-kind test model is 3-3/16" longer than stock, and weighs an additional 19 grams fully loaded, plus an additional 17 grams of noseweight for stability. Two of the four gold-lined static-ports can be seen just above and below the star emblem. Behind the electronics bay is the emergency parachute bay, used just in case the imaginary landing gear doesn't extend in flight.
