Second rocket launch for Flanagan's 2010-2011 rocketry club. Almost immediately after lift-off, the rocket's trajectory began veering west towards a lake (hence my reaction of "shit") but apart from that, the first phase of the flight went off without a hitch. From there things went from okay to horrible, as the top half of the rocket detached itself from the bottom half mid-flight as the parachute was being deployed. Luckily, the remaining half of the rocket landed barely on the bank of the lake, and was recovered. Overall a decent launch, would have been nice to recover all of the rocket though.
