This is the Estes "Executioner", a huge "E" engine rocket. The rocket was not finished by launch day. It only had a coat of primer. It was very windy with gusts up to 15 mph. We decided to give it a try anyway, using the truck as a small barrier to the wind. You can see the rocket turn into the wind - still, a beautiful flight! I had to walk 1/4 mile through the brush to get it. A great rocket to build and to fly!
