Flight Log - 2015-08-08 - Dan Patell's Beta

Rocket is built out of 3.72" FWFG found on eBay.  The tubing is very nice, certainly on par with tubing commonly available in the rocketry hobby!  The rocket uses a 3" LOC nosecone inside of a 3D printed adapter. Motor mount is 54mm Hawk Mountain tubing and the fins are 1/16" G10 fiberglass.  Recovery is either single deployment at apogee by way of Missile Works RRC3 or via dual deployment out of the recovery bay with a cable cutter.

Beautiful flight.  Rocket tilted 10 degrees into the wind and deployed perfectly at apogee.  The R7C main parachute dropped the rocket at approximately 24 fps.  The rocket landed in the field amongst the corn and was quickly located thanks to the Radio Shack personal alarm.
