Custom two-stage high power rocket

Misfit Flats, Stagecoach, NV. Custom two-stage rocket - 54mm airframe, 38mm Aerotech 38/600 RMS I435 in the booster to 29mm Aerotech DMS H195 in the sustainer. Booster altitude was 2,722' AGL, sustainer hit 5,915'. Interstage failed under booster thrust which is visible in the video and resulted in high drag and induced a spin. Sustainer motor ignition at BECO +2.0 separated booster from sustainer. Booster suffered catastrophic damage - broke 2 of 3 fins on landing, top of airframe was cracked in flight, and the interstage was destroyed by sustainer motor. Sustainer suffered minor damage to bottom of airframe. Electronics were RRC2 in the booster for main chute deployment at apogee, RRC2 for dual deployment recovery in sustainer, Missileworks T3 for tracking in sustainer, as well as Missileworks PET2+ timer handling staging events.
