My 4 year old son picked this out, as "Dad, this is the one that I've always wanted!". Easy build, finished to look like the box version. Broke the rubber shock cord after glueing it in place and had to resort to "improvising" a shock cord. First flight was as single stage only, soared to easily over 1000', the nose cone and streamers never deployed so it became a 41" long lawn dart that we lost sight of. Wife found it minutes later sticking straight out of the ground and the nose portion was buried in soft dirt up to about 6", and it didn't suffer a scratch! Will replace the streamers with an extra parachute as after the "improvised" shock cord the streamers were hard to pack and didn't fit right.

Impressive launch. The nose cone and streamers failed to deploy at apogee which turned this rocket into a 41" lawn dart which we lost sight of. Found minutes later sticking straight out of the ground about 25 yards away from us. Zero damage found!
