my newly built Estes Hi-Flier experienced a CATO (Catastrophe At Take Off) on its maiden flight. The reason was the failures of the CA Gel adhesion between 2 of the laser cut balsa fins and the rocket body. Note I mistakenly mentioned 'fins broke off the rocket just before lift off' but of course the failure happened during lift off.
