Very cold (12, -4 wind chill). First flight with Altimeter One. Launched into the wind (about 70 degrees). Flew sideways (max altitude 162 feet). Knot on elastic cord came undone and rocket split in two. Daniel recovered both pieces following 20 min search. Parachute did deploy correctly.
