Launch of United States Space Shuttle Atlantis STS-135 on 07/08/2011 as viewed from the Spacevidcast.com press site near the iconic countdown clock at Kennedy Space Center. Benjamin and Cariann Higginbotham, hosts of Spacevidcast.com, had just turned their viewers over to NASA.com for the launch sequence. At this point they had been doing their show for a solid 14 hours on UStream. Now they can take a break and enjoy the launch. This is a "behind the scenes" look of the two moments before and during the launch. It gets interesting at T minus 31 seconds when there was a launch sequence error. That was when launch control was supposed to automatically hand off to the Atlantis onboard computers.
