Launching a Red Max model rocket at The Grange, a small park in Sayville, NY. as per usual, the first countdown ends in a spectacular silence/ i got it to go eventually/ The igniters (you push a button to activate the electronic "igniter" or match which lights the engine) often fail and you have to reload and try again. Combined shots of two launches, both on B 6-4 engines. I later launched with a C 6-7, in a Much larger field- I highly recommend the larger engine, but be sure you have at least double the space you see here, even the B 6-4 was pushing it in this field Also, not on camera, my second launch ended with the rocket hanging on a telephone wire- but good news, it fell to the ground unharmed a minute later Big thanks to Estes for coming up with a little plastic plug that helps keep the igniter in place, I had far fewer misfires with this rocket than i used to have- this was my first time launching a rocket in over 20 years so im not sure how long the plastic plugs have been around but What an improvement!..
