Another trip to AirFest / Kloudbusters and another Goblin drag race. Once again I flew the puncy L1940x in the 75/3840 casing. If my math is right that's an 84% L, and it has a super flat thrust curve. The Goblin has flown twice or maybe three time snow on that motor with great results.


Sadly, my competitor suffered a complete failure under thrust again, and lost his airframe. He did get the main, nosecone, booster section (completely empty of MMT or fins) and one fin back. It's sad because he was first off the pad and almost certainly would have wone if he hadn't suffered a total shred.


Anyway, always a fun time but no photos of my rocket this time, just the zippered airframe of my competitor recovered in the beans.
